It's been a while since I've updated this. Recent adds include my positions in timber trust Rayonier (RYN), auto parts maker BorgWarner (BWA), Corning glassworks (GLW), as well as additions to oilwell services company National Oilwell Varco (NOV).
Hard hits keep coming lately on stem-cell therapy developer Cytori Therapeutics (CYTX). This was not long ago a $9 stock. Now at $2.31.
But this is my speculative stock -- no profits yet, lots in development -- so I won't be looking to unload anytime soon. (Although I should have parted with some when it was up between $8 and $9.)
I may add a bit more if prices do not recover.
The question is, with this thing falling so sharply, where to buy?
Boston Beer (SAM), meanwhile, has been brewing up nice gains. So much so, that it made itself quickly back out of my comfort range for additions. I'll consider adding on a pullback.
For that matter, I'll consider adding just about anything on here on a dip.
Starbucks (SBUX) newly on my radar.
